Monsoon Preparedness - VHF Excercise :

RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service) a unit of Civil Defence (Members of Civil Defence having Amateur Radio Operators licence) will be conducting a mock drill for the coming Monsoon season as communication support in case of any requirement.

All hams from Mumbai & Thane are most welcome to join us on VHF for this excercise.

40 Meter - TRX Workshop - July 2011 :

3 day 40M - TRX workshop is proposed to be held at NIAR, Hyderabad during July 2011.

Hams with knowledge of soldering, interested in constructing their own 40M-TRX may give their names and contact number to Ms. Bhanumathy, VU2BL on any working day during 10.30AM - 5:00PM.

The workshop is limited to 5 individuals or groups.
