• CQ CQ CQ DE VU2SGW VU2SGW VU2SGW calling and standing by (callsign in phonetics).
• CQ 20 CQ 20 CQ 20 VU2SGW VU2SGW VU2SGW calling CQ and by (callsign in phonetics, 20 is the specific band which you are giving your CQ call ).
• CQ DX CQ DX CQ DX VU2SGW VU2SGW VU2SGW calling CQ and listening (callsign in phonetics).
• CQ David X'ray CQ David X'ray CQ David X'ray VU2SGW VU2SGW VU2SGW Calling CQ David X'ray and standing by (callsign in phonetics, instead of David X'ray you can also use Delta X'ray).
• CQ JAPAN CQ JAPAN CQ JAPAN VU2SGW VU2SGW VU2SGW calling and standing by (callsign in phonetics, call directed to a particular country).

Important note: If you receive no reply to your CQ! after five or six tries on the same frequency, over a period of a few minutes, you still have no replies, try tuning up or down the band a little bit, and try again.
