World Telecommunication Day :

VU2IU - 145.200 +shift Homebrew repeater was inaugurated on 18-5-1997, served thirteen years for Ham Community installed at VU3ITI OM Varadan home QTH. Brain behind this successful home brew repeater is VU2DEV OM Ramaprabhu. Hope this repeater will serve many more years and thank both the hams for their continued support to Ham fraternity.

It will not be wrong to mention, "it is the only homebrewed VHF Repeater existing undisturbed and active in VU Land for thirteen years".
