Slim Jim's and J-Poles :

Slim Jim and/or J-Poles can be made from some wire on a stick of PVC or a broom handle, here are a couple of links to them. Even a calculator to give you all the dimensions. It is always better to say “I made it”. Some people make them and roll it up in a back pack and hang it from a tree in the park. I have done this and it works.
