Sal Torres (W0SCT)of Fountain, CO helps with the search and rescue effort going on in Haiti from his Colorado home. He does this by acting as Net Control of the International Radio Emergency Support Coalition (IRESC) Radio Net which coordinates health and welfare and other emergency message radio traffic between Hams all over the world, on numerous modes including computer nodes, VHF radios, and repeaters, and HF communication equipment.
